2nd swim of the year, which is a disgrace. 1/2 mile with no breaks. Solo. 69° water, decently clear with lots of fish. No swell to speak of. Hot and muggy and beautiful.

This was preceded and followed by a beautiful weekend with Shannon and Cate. Olympics, dancing, too much laundry, bacon, discovering that Pacific Beach now has a drive-in movie theater, and a perfect concert in Kate Sessions Park (which Shannon documented expertly).
